FALL SCHOOL ON

CITIZENS’ ASSEMBLIES

October, 22-24, 2024 | Phoenix, Arizona

The Fall School on Citizens’ Assemblies was a unique opportunity for participants to join the  growing North American deliberative community. They gained insights from leading experts and practitioners, acquiring practical knowledge to benefit their own communities.

Policymakers learned practical methods for implementing innovative forms of public engagement, while civil society leaders explored effective advocacy strategies for more inclusive decision-making processes.

This Citizens’ Assembly School was organised in partnership with the National Civic League and hosted by the Consortium for Science, Policy & Outcomes of Arizona State University.

Over three days, participants of the Fall School explored the A-Z of citizens’ assemblies: from the recruitment to follow-up, the full cycle of the deliberative process was discussed, examined and learned.
